Note about the invalidation of the Privacy Shield:

The European Court of Justice (CJEU) invalidated the decision on the adequacy of the protection provided by the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield on July 16, 2020. Likewise, the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner declared the protection provided by the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield as not adequate on September 09, 2020. We continue to observe the principles set out in the Privacy Shield framework and described in this policy, which reflect standards of data protection according to the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Since we are determined to always protect your personal data in full compliance with applicable regulations, further measures such as standard contractual clauses have been implemented in the light of the high level of protection and the new requirements stipulated by the CJEU.


1. Visiting our website

When you visit our website, we collect the following information, from your browser:

Coherent specifically uses personal information to help customers and business partners to complete a transaction or order, to enable communication and collaboration, to deliver products/services, to invoice for purchased products/services, and to provide ongoing service or support.

5. Retention of personal data
